We use family photos in the Preschool on our home corner walls.

We believe this:

Promotes a Sense of Belonging. Children feel more secure and valued when they see familiar faces in the environment. Reinforces the connection between home and school.

Supports Emotional Development. Helps children self-regulate by providing comfort during transitions or  moments of distress. Encourages conversations about feelings and relationships.

Enhances Communication and Language. Children naturally talk about their family, which promotes vocabulary and storytelling. Staff can use the photos as prompts for meaningful conversations

Please also continue to support us using the Amazon Wishlist

Dropping off and collecting your child.

To help the children settle in more smoothly and avoid unnecessary distress during drop-off, we kindly ask that you do not come inside the preschool when dropping off your child.

This helps reduce separation anxiety and supports a calm, consistent start to their day.

Prolonged stays by parents also upset other children and make the staffs job much harder.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Any changes to your child’s life are important to share with us, any concerns or questions please share these with a member of staff.

We also want to celebrate any WOW moments.

We would love it if you were able to leave a review on our Google page:

Leave a review!

At Niton Preschool, we believe that teaching our little ones about sustainability is crucial for their development and for the world they will inherit. To support our commitment to fostering an eco-conscious environment, we have introduced a small weekly sustainability charge of £5. This contribution helps us cover essential consumables, art materials, and the waterproof clothing that allows our children to explore the great outdoors, rain or shine!

Looking at different people’s cultures and festivals is a great way to teach children about the world around them. We encourage children to show respect for other people’s beliefs. We will be looking at the Hindu Festival of Light Diwali, Bonfire Night and of course Christmas.
